San Francisco Organizing Project (SFOP) Local Parish Committee

The San Francisco Organizing Project (SFOP) local organizing ministry at Mission Dolores is a bilingual, inter-generational, and cross-cultural committee that meets every month to develop community leaders and grassroots campaigns in the pursuit of social justice.

Through listening to the community, building one-on-one relationships, researching and analyzing policy, collaborating with other community organizations, and organizing large "action meetings" with decision-makers, SFOP has accomplished such key feats as universal health care for all San Francisco children, nearly 3000 units of affordable housing, and safer neighborhoods through job training and workforce development.

To learn more about SFOP, visit www.sfop.org. The Mission Dolores committee enthusiastically welcomes new members. If interested, please contact Marisela at mariselasf(AT)gmail.com or contact the Rectory at (415) 621-8203.
